Picture
Pat Hodge has dedicated her entire career to K-12 education. She is a founding partner of Education Solutions and continues her support of teaching and learning. Prior to her work in Education Solutions, Dr. Hodge served as a teacher, counselor, psychometrist, principal, director of curriculum and instruction and student services, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, assistant superintendent for administrative services, and adjunct instructor for Samford University.

Dr. Hodge
has served in leadership roles providing professional learning opportunities for numerous education committees and professional organizations and has spoken and presented on teaching and learning within the state and nation. She, also, has participated in educational reform initiatives through The Schlechty Center for Leadership in School Reform with a focus on school and district leadership as a catalyst for meaningful change. In her role as principal of Tarrant Elementary School, Dr. Hodge led the staff through the application process and eventual recognition as a Blue Ribbon School. The National Association of Elementary School Principals recognized Dr. Hodge as an outstanding principal and leader, and The Alabama Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development honored her as the outstanding curriculum leader for the year 2012. During her tenure as principal of Mountain Brook Elementary School, Learning Forward, the Journal for Staff Development, highlighted Dr. Hodge’s leadership and the work of the staff as an example of school leadership in professional learning.
